How many grandchildren do you have?:  0
What pets do you have?:  1 darling cat named Suki
What have you been doing for the last 40 years?:
After leaving Hawaii where I lived for 10 years, I raised my beautiful daughter, Pilialoha, here in Coronado. She recently graduated from USD with her Masters and last year got married in Tahiti where her husband is from ... so I have been to Tahiti a few times over the last two years...which isn't bad. I have managed to stay in Coronado longer then ever thought I would, and I now realize how much I love it here. I do stained glass and take art classes as much as I can. My daughter swears I am going to retire soon and be an artist in Moorea. I am currently working in a real estate office here in Coronado, and oddly enough contemplating getting my real estate license in these tough economic times! I look forward to the reunion and I can't wait to see everyone.

Hi everyone:  Well, have a lot to tell but will try to make it brief.  I have a beautiful 29 year old daughter Shanyn who is a Systems Administrator with AAA in Costa Mesa, California.  She is married to Jeff, also a Systems Administrator and I have 4 grandkids and 1 step-grandson, Alex who is 11.  Christina is 11, Caitlyn is 9, Chelsey is 4 and Joey is almost 3 months.  I've been with a wonderful man Ed for almost 12 years and married for 5.  We left San Diego in 2005.  We sold our home and moved to Missouri and bought a 10 acre farm.  We have been produce farming for 4 years and I have adapted to a slow-paced, easy-going life.  No traffic...no crime...except someone had their mailbox run over...and very few neighbors.  We have lots of pets...chickens, guineas, quail, 2 cats, 2 goats, 2 domestic birds, etc.  I got bored being retired so am working for the Workforce Development Board in Sedalia, MO as a Career Assistance Specialist.  I work with people on temporary assistance for needy families in an attempt to teach them to be self-sufficient.  With today's tough economic times and the lack of jobs/layoffs, it's a challenging, yet rewarding position.  Would love to be able to see you all, but timing is just not right!  Hope you are well, healthy and happy.  My life turned out great and I am very blessed.   I do miss some of the crazy times we all shared...you all know what I mean!!

What have you been doing for the last 40 years?:
Let's see, 40 years in a nutshell. After high school, I moved to Santa Barbara for a year, then on to Berkeley. I attended college off and on, but didn't graduate. I had planned to be a vet, but after spending some time working in a research center, I gave up the idea. Spent a few very fun, wild years in Berkeley (think People's Park era). Adrienne Dente was at Mills College in Oakland, we had a great time. I came back to Coronado to manage my parent's nursery in about '73 - Andersen's Garden Center. Got my real estate license. Got married in 1976 to a local building contractor. We purchased, remodeled, and sold a number of houses in Coronado. Got divorced 5 years later. Enjoyed being single for several more years, got married again in '83. This October will be our 25th Anniversary. My husband is in the International Cement Industry, so we travel a lot. All over the world. I still love animals, and have rescued and found homes for many feral and stray cats & kittens, including some from Mexico that found their way into my car. About 5 years ago I took up pottery, and spend 2 days a week at Clay Associates in San Diego. I am much improved, and can now make a teapot. You may see some of my handiwork at the reunion. I have been working on our reunions since the 10th, and I really enjoy getting together with the committee planning our reunions and looking for former CHS classmates. The computer makes it a much easier job these days. This time we were sad to have to add several classmates to our deceased list, including my friend, Joy Robinson. Now, let's hear what you have been doing for the last 40!
Who would you like to find from high school?:
We're in the process of finding everyone!
From Mary Sue:

This is going to be a great reunion - the best so far!

Doubt I'll be able to make it to the reunion.  But we had a mini-reunion when seven classmates ventured out (from MA, VA, WA, NV) to our older daughter's wedding in Coronado last June; a glorious time was had by all.
