Reunion committee, Thank you very much:

We had such a terrific time.  Flowers for our hair, peace symbols, tiki mugs, the photo booth with all the trimings, TJ donkey/sombreors, good food, drinks and to top it off a magical DJ who transformed us back to THE DAY.

The  venue was beautiful. A special  thanks to the Darnell family and their generosity to all of us.

But the most treasured of all, was to see classmates and life long pals.  Nothing can surpass that. Just wish I could have participated in more of the activities.  I missed it.

Peace and love to all the pals of the class of 1969, see you on the back side.

Fondly, Patti

Thank you Reunion Committee members ... what a labor of ("summer") love!

Kathryn and I married last year in Coronado (7/11/08) at Living Waters, a Calvary Chapel ministry, 1223 10th, Suite 103  (10th & B).  We live in North Park, but are in Coronado many times a week, visiting my mom, or going to church, or walking the beach, or swimming at the Rec Pool, or biking.

I was only in the Class of '69 for my last 1/2 year as a Senior, graduating Jan '69.  But I have fond memories of the Senior Class Play ... and of many of you who had School Spirit that I admired ... kinda from afar.  I also enjoyed playing tennis at the 20th!

I look forward to re-acquaintintg with you, and to your meeting Kathryn, and invite you to see the mural she is painting in one of our Sunday School rooms.

My six sons are grown, the youngest are twins, one just graduated college in Denver, the other due to graduate there this December.

Just want to say hi to everyone.  I'm still working construction, although it is slow right now.  Still living in El Cajon, up in Crest. We are up to 6 grandkids now. Still enjoying our place at the desert (winter resort) ha.   Talked to David Baker a couple of weeks ago.  He lives in Northern Oregon in the boon docks and has a small business as a logger.  Let me hear how you all are doing and I'll see you at the reunion.

Would dearly love to hear from my old pals, Diane Pitz, Chris Rusch and Lynn Clark. Mark Stuart lives up here in Sac, but I never see him!

I work at UC Davis Med Sch (30+ yrs!) and  a few years ago went back to school to learn to make wine. I'm part time at Michael David Vineyards, where we have great zin & syrahs.

May be coming to La Jolla to pour in April and will try to make the reunion. It was great seeing Lynn at our 30th!

It's been a quiet last ten years. Rick and I became grandparents for the first time on July 23, 2005. Her name in Julianne and is precious.
I'm still retired and enjoying every minute I can. We now only have two babies (2 greyhounds). We lost one Sept.
Anyway, overall things are going well.
Looking forward to the reunion and having fun.

Hi everyone:  Well, have a lot to tell but will try to make it brief.  I have a beautiful 29 year old daughter Shanyn who is a Systems Administrator with AAA in Costa Mesa, California.  She is married to Jeff, also a Systems Administrator and I have 4 grandkids and 1 step-grandson, Alex who is 11.  Christina is 11, Caitlyn is 9, Chelsey is 4 and Joey is almost 3 months.  I've been with a wonderful man Ed for almost 12 years and married for 5.  We left San Diego in 2005.  We sold our home and moved to Missouri and bought a 10 acre farm.  We have been produce farming for 4 years and I have adapted to a slow-paced, easy-going life.  No traffic...no crime...except someone had their mailbox run over...and very few neighbors.  We have lots of pets...chickens, guineas, quail, 2 cats, 2 goats, 2 domestic birds, etc.  I got bored being retired so am working for the Workforce Development Board in Sedalia, MO as a Career Assistance Specialist.  I work with people on temporary assistance for needy families in an attempt to teach them to be self-sufficient.  With today's tough economic times and the lack of jobs/layoffs, it a challenging, yet rewarding position.  Would love to be able to see you all, but timing is just not right!  Hope you are well, healthy and happy.  My life turned out great and I am very blessed.   I do miss some of the crazy times we all shared...you all know what I mean!!

Although I've spent most of my life with my beautiful Aussie wife working in Indonesia, we're now engaged in community development work in Malawi, Africa.

We make it home to Coronado once a year & would like to get the timing right for once. Will try! All the very best anyhow!

Just found this site and I will add my updates for the past -40- years. At the moment I am in snowy upstate New York. This time of year I can't help but remember the warm and sunny beach!

Some updates on fellow classmates:

As a sad note we lost DAVID ROBERTS this past year in Coronado. I keep in touch with his daughter (my ex-Niece).

Also, JIM NOTTINGHAM is quite active these days in both Africa and Australia.

Our "family" home is still located in Coronado.

Coronado has been on my heart lately.  So many memories of Elementary, Jr. High and High School there.  40 years - amazing!
Being sent to Reform school in my Junior year and not sticking with the Football team as a Freshman are my two worst memories.  But so many dear friends, some of whom I have stayed in contact with are my best memories.
Joy Robinson's death is a shock, what a sweet and tender girl.  Rest in Peace my friend, I wish I had known so that I could have prayed before you were called home.
I've been a Pastor for the past 28 years for Calvary Chapel and have never been sorry.  One beautiful wife of 31 years, 2 great children, 1 amazing Granddaughter.  God is good!
